CSIR UGC NET 2024 notification has been released by NTA. Online applications are accepted from 9 to 30 December 2024.
Introduction
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 examination.
Purpose of this exam is to determine eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and admission to PhD in universities and colleges.
The exam will be Computer-Based Test (CBT) across various centers in India.
The CSIR UGC NET Notification is released on 9 December 2024 and the online applications are invited from 9 to 30 December 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC NET December 2024
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender).
- Final year Master’s degree students can also apply but must complete the degree with the required percentage within two years.
Age Limit fot CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum 30 years as of February 2025 (Relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms).
- Assistant Professor/Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.

- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill out the application form with the required details.
- Once registration done, you will get back to login page.
- Login with your credentials. Complete further application process.
- Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and other necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee through the available online modes.
- Download and print the confirmation page or application form.
